Fireflies (Lightning bugs) - 8/7/2011(9pm-12am)

   Is amazing that the fireflies is just right in front and around me!! There is the place that I never heard before where it is just a stone throw away from my campus-USMKK. The place name - Pulau Tengah.
   Pulau Tengah, the name is due to it is place right in the middle of the river. Thus, it is surrounded by the river. According to the pak cik that bring us along the "Fireflies Journy", this Pulau Tengah have the shape exactly the same with the shape of our Semenanjung Malaysia.
   We took the sampan to the place where you can see the whole trees are full of lightning bugs, is amazing and is like the X'mas trees around you!! Most of them like to stop /hang on the tree call as "Pokok benban" (this tree hv the root which is on water surface)
   The other things that the pak cik told us is the fireflies they will flashed in pattern. They can flash at the same time, with the same pattern.  For each blinking pattern is an optical signal that helps fireflies find potential mates. see....how amazing!!
   Besides that, we saw the crocodile that hide in the place that full of tree's roots. The pak cik said, as long as we dint kacau it, its wont kacau us too. huh.....luckily....
   After the "fireflies journy" we was served with Nasi goreng Kerabu with the ikan Bakar by the penghuni there.(one of my friend's friend). We have a nice n memorable day there with the fireflies (^o^)!!
